Function: Conducts behavior assessments and treatment plans, as well as supervise and provide training to Behavior Support Professionals on staff.
General Areas of Responsibility:
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments/analyses.
- Provide objective baseline and ongoing data to plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of the interventions in use.
- Administers, conducts, evaluates and supervises the implementation of behavioral assessment measures.
- Plan, implement, and monitor effective ABA principles and Behavior Safety Plans for individuals in our programs.
- Implement direct ABA therapy, activities, and interventions to the person supported in the day programming services.
- Provide participant supervision at the program site or in a community setting.
- Provide staff training on the Principles of ABA and Behavior Modification.
- Provide training, coaching, and support to staff.
- Provide a monthly review of data for each person supported and analyze the behavior programs, outcomes, and progress.
- Review incoming referrals from the Regional Center and provide Referral Packet Review to the Program Manager within 2-3 days.
- Develop an initial Behavior Safety plan for all new participants within 30 days from the start date and annually thereafter.
- Provide Behavioral Safety Plans (BSP) training for staff.
- Monitor behavioral documents completed by direct care staff to document the person supported programs, outcomes, and progress.
- Develops written reports for each person supported documenting behavioral recommendations, behavioral procedures, and protocols.
- Travel from assigned program sites to other Day Program sites to provide training, conduct assessments, attend meetings, etc.
