The Elementary Tennis Coach is responsible for introducing young students to the sport of tennis, fostering their skills while emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, and Christian values. This role involves planning and leading engaging tennis sessions, ensuring a positive, encouraging atmosphere for all participants, and promoting a love for the sport. The coach will also build relationships with students, guiding them in both athletic and spiritual growth. Tennis Season is from March-May.
Pay rate: $16.00 per hour Hours: Up to 15 hours per week Requirements Key Responsibilities:
Introduce basic tennis skills and techniques to elementary students.
Plan and run tennis practices and drills that engage children in a fun and active way.
Promote teamwork, fair play, and sportsmanship among young players.
Instill Christian values and principles in coaching practices.
Build positive relationships with students and encourage their spiritual and athletic development.
Qualifications:
Previous coaching experience, especially with children, is a plus.
Understanding of tennis fundamentals and ability to teach them effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create a fun and supportive environment for young athletes.
Knowledge of Christian values and commitment to integrating them into coaching.
