Armed Security Officer
URGENT HIRING: 8-5 Monday, Tuesday Wednesday, and Friday
Responsibilities:
- Provide armed security services to protect personnel, property, and assets
- Conduct regular patrols and monitor premises to prevent unauthorized access or activities
- Respond to alarms and incidents promptly, assessing the situation and taking appropriate action
- Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure a safe environment
- Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems to identify potential threats or suspicious behavior
- Enforce company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws
- Conduct investigations into security breaches or incidents, documenting findings and providing recommendations for improvement
- Provide first aid or emergency response as needed
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid armed security officer license/certificate
- Prior experience in loss prevention, law enforcement, or military is preferred
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures
- Proficient in the use of CCTV systems and surveillance equipment
- Excellent observation skills with the ability to quickly assess situations
- Effective communication and conflict management skills
- CPR and first aid certification is required
Note: This position requires individuals who are physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time. Additionally, candidates must pass a thorough background check and drug screening.
