ARF Program Director/Administrator

Under the direct supervision of the Regional Manager, the Program Director oversees the coordination of all aspects the program including planning curriculum, administration of facility operations processes, leading the facility's team in the implementation of change management with clear and results-driven service modules, along with guiding the program objectives while assuring that the facility meets and exceeds standards of relevant regulatory and accrediting boards.

Responsibilities:

  • Plans the delivery of the overall program and its activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization.
  • Develops and implements long-term goals and objectives to achieve successful outcomes of the program.
  • Creates evaluation/performance metrics framework to assess program strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Oversees collection and maintenance of client and staff records according to the confidentiality policy of the organization.
  • Holds responsibility for program process improvements; regulates and follows through on improvement policies.
  • Engages with the Medical Director and executive management to develop strategic program processes.
  • Reports findings to the Medical Director and recommends changes to enhance the program.
  • Coordinates a performance management process for all staff to ensure trainings and certifications are up to date.
  • Recruits and engages volunteers for appropriate program activities.
  • Ensures that all staff receive orientation and appropriate in-service education in accordance with organizational standards as well as regulatory board standards.
  • Communicates with clients and other stakeholders to gain community support for the program and solicits input to improve the program.
  • Collaborates with executive management and subordinate staff to ensure effective and efficient program delivery.
  • Coordinates delivery of services among different program activities to increase effectiveness and efficacy.


Requirements:

  • Fluidity, Kindness, People Centered, Team Player, Professionalism.
  • 4-5 years of relevant work experience of which 2 years post-licensure experience in a community program serving clients who have mental illness, one (1) of which must be in the position of supervising direct care staff.
  • Ability to provide clinical supervision to pre-licensed interns as per California Board of Behavioral Sciences guidelines.
  • Working knowledge of program development and management.
  • Strong knowledge of co-occurring disorders and treatment modalities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Active administrative certificate preferred but can be sponsored and obtained during the first 6 months from hiring date.
  • Must be able to meet and receive a criminal records clearance, as required by Title 22, or other licensing regulations.
  • A valid California driver license, reliable personal vehicle, current personal auto insurance as required by law, and an MVR sufficient to obtain and reasonably maintain insurability under agency auto liability policies are all essential job requirements.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment medical and drug tests as required under Community Care Licensing regulations and/or agency policies.
  • Must have an active Administrator Certificate
  • Must have an active CPR certification.


Scheduled Shift:

Monday - Friday AM Shift (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
