Apartment Maintenance Technician
Complete all service requests within 24 hours, unless it requires extraordinary parts or labor.
Expected hours: 40 per week
Benefits:
- Keep maintenance shop in a clean and orderly manner.
- Maintain pool and deck area.
- Monitor and operate trash compactor. • Help maintain grounds and streets free of litter.
- Keep uniform and personal appearance neat and clean.
- Maintain laundry equipment.
- Maintain tennis courts.
- Assist Groundskeeper on breezeways as necessary.
- Keep carwash maintained, fully stocked, and clean. • Assist Maintenance Supervisor with unusual projects as necessary to maintain smooth property operations.
- Maintain all project directional signs, making sure they are clean, painted,and straight.
- Ensure preventative maintenance is done on fitness equipment.
- Monitor guidelines for vacant units, office, and common areas.
- Responsible for checking and replacing any defective or burned-out light bulbs or security lights. Light inspections to be done one or two times perweek.
- Serve “on call” as necessary.
- Perform preventative maintenance quarterly as outlined in the maintenance manual.
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor in painting 60% of units in-house.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Property Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor
Expected hours: 40 per week
