Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding guest services, ensuring that patrons enjoy their meals and have a memorable time at our establishment. Your ability to manage time effectively, upsell menu items, and assist with food preparation will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.
Duties

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
• Provide recommendations on menu items, including daily specials, to enhance the dining experience through effective upselling.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our culinary standards.
• Assist with basic food preparation in the kitchen as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their visit.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of each meal service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
• Strong guest service skills with a passion for providing an exceptional dining experience.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to work independently when required.
• A keen interest in culinary arts and food preparation is advantageous.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
