Overview

The Seagull Hotel is a community pub sitting within a large housing estate in Porthcawl. The dining area has a traditional feel with its wooden beams and wooden bar. Fixed seating in a number of areas makes it a comfortable environment for customers to enjoy a delicious meal. The Bar area, again has fixed seating around the outside all facing the large screen TV that is great for watching live sport. The external area has plenty of seating where customers can sit in the sun and watch the world go by. A large carpark also makes it a great place for customers to come from far and wide. The customer base is made up of local diners, drinkers, darts teams and local social groups. The Seagull is also famous for its weekly Friday night quiz which draws people in from all over the local area.

There is potential to grow sales through connecting with the local community further and there is a large school in the area that could open up opportunities for a morning breakfast trade. You can also offer large community events that can utilise the external space and there aren't many branded food venues in the local area so this can be taken advantage off.

We are looking for an experienced community operator who can deliver a company food menu to a high standard. Local knowledge would be beneficial to really drive the community events that the site has the potential to be famous for.

The pub is turning over £10,000 on a 70/30 wet lead split but there is potential to increase the sales by driving extra food and drinks sales.
