Quality Inspector (Aerospace Manufacturing & Finishing)

Technical Metals is a respected supplier in the aerospace industry, specialising in high-quality aluminium finishing and surface preparation processes. With over 40 years of experience, we deliver industry-leading services, including CNC Machining, various anodising techniques, bead blasting, buffing, polishing, linishing, and Clear Chem treatment. We’re expanding and are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to be a crucial team member and enhance our growing team.

The Role
We seek a proactive individual with experience within a manufacturing environment that can support our commitment to high standards and effective production.
Key Responsibilities
  • Goods-Inwards inspection including communication with Suppliers on non-conformance control and resolution.
  • Knowledge and experience using Microsoft functions such as excel, word, Power Point etc.
  • Support the Quality Team to Implement and maintain the Quality Management System across operational levels, ensuring all departments meet QMS standards.
  • Support the Quality Team to Minimise non-conformances and audit issues (e.g., AS9100), ensuring timely resolution.
  • Conduct internal and external audits in line with customer and industry requirements, including AS9100 and EFQM standards.
About You
  • Aerospace Quality Systems Experience: Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing quality standards. (Desired)
  • Communication Skills: Able to communicate confidently at all levels and build effective working relationships.
  • Can work within a team environment and demonstrate the ability to help build effective teamwork relationships
Experience Requirement: Minimum 1 year experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably within Aerospace.

Work Schedule
Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 17:15pm
Friday - 8:00am - 13:00pm
