Due to present business needs we have vacancies for Production Operatives. Successful applicants will be trained to work as skilled operatives within production.
All applicants must be fully flexible and prepared to participate in shifts following a 5-day 3 shift rotating pattern (rotating weekly early shift 7am-3pm, night shift 11pm-7am and late shift 3pm-11pm).
Essential Criteria:
· Numeracy and literacy skills
· Ability to communicate effectively, with an eagerness to learn
· Manual dexterity
· Flexible, organised and motivated
· Ability to work to work effectively unsupervised and on own initiative, in an efficient manner
· Ability to work in a team, with a positive and can-do attitude
· Ability to work all 3 shifts on a rotational basis.
Desirable Criteria:
· Relevant experience
Rate of pay:
During training the pay is £13.37 (inclusive of a shift allowance)
On successful completion of training the rate of pay will increase to £14.55 per hour.
An additional shift allowance when on night shift.
As skills develop there is an opportunity to move to the full production rate of £16.12.
Interviews will be arranged on an on-going basis until positions are filled. Previous applicants in the last 6 months need not apply.
