About Us Cardiff Galvanizers (1969) Ltd is an established, family-run company that has been a trusted partner in the protective coatings industry for over 50 years. We pride ourselves on our commitment to safety, quality, and reliability, and we foster a work environment that values hard work, honesty and respect. As part of our continued growth, we are now expanding our team to include a motivated Production Operative who will primarily work in our Powder Coating Department while proving support to our quality team when needed. The Role As a Production Operative in our powder coating department, your primary responsibility will be to prepare metal work for the powder coating process. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role where you will be on your feet all day, using tools like angle grinders, files, and other equipment to ensure that the metal surfaces are clean and smooth. You will also assist with our Quality Team with essential tasks such as fettling, touching up, and performing quality checks on galvanizing work, ensuring that finished products meet our high standards. Working closely with our one-person Quality Team, you’ll need to take initiative and apply practical decision-making. This hands-on, physically demanding role requires attention to safety, given the use of vibration tools, overhead cranes, and forklifts. All necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided. Key Responsibilities
