Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Operative/Handyman to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our site. This position requires a proactive individual who can work on their own initiative effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Duties
- Operate machinery and equipment as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to promote a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to health and safety regulations.
-Carry out extensive Landscaping duties to ensure the Site is pristine at all times.
-React to H&S issues arising throughout normal daily routine.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role or landscaping is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts as required by the operational needs of the business.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement is highly valued.
