Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service in the hospitality industry? MGM Muthu Hotel is seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a General Assistant.
JOB LOCATION: OBAN, SCOTLAND
GENERAL ASSISTANT JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with guest check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a seamless experience for all guests
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns promptly
Support housekeeping staff with cleaning rooms, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness standards
Assist in the hotel restaurant by setting up tables, serving food and beverages, and clearing tables as needed
Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction and uphold the hotel's standards of service
Perform general maintenance tasks such as light repairs, painting, and upkeep of hotel facilities
Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask as needed
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: Up to £11.44 per hour
Work Location: In person
