Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or home care settings, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. You will be responsible for assisting with daily activities and implementing care plans tailored to each individual's needs. Duties
Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support individuals with mobility and movement, ensuring their safety at all times.
Help with meal preparation and feeding as required, promoting nutritional health.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions to senior staff.
Implement care plans effectively while adapting to the changing needs of clients.
Engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life and emotional well-being.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to foster a supportive environment.
Requirements
Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication skills in English are necessary for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately.
Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation are advantageous.
A compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care is essential.
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed to meet client requirements.
