About the role

We are looking to recruit an Environmental Operative to join our busy Streetscene Service on a full-time basis, based at Penrhos Depot, Llandysul.

As part of the Local Environmental Services team, you will be providing important frontline services including emptying litterbins, removal of fly tipping, litter picking and other duties. You may be also required to work as part of the wider service including Waste Collections and Ground Maintenance.

On a day to day basis you will:

load refuse and recycling materials onto vehicles as required
empty litter bins
may be required to assist with works in the wider Local Environmental Services team in keeping with the profile of the post

We are looking to recruit individuals who have:

experience of physical / manual work
experience of working in a team environment
experience of lone working
full UK driving license

The hours of work are below:

Wednesday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:00
Friday: 08:00 – 16:30
Saturday – Sunday: 08:00 – 16:00
