Customer Service and Logistics Coordinator

We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our operations, managing the entire order journey from initial stock visibility to final delivery and invoicing.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Order Management: Oversee the end-to-end order process, including managing vessel and air freight, coordinating stock landing in UK/EU cold stores, and liaising with sales, 3PLs, and customers.
  • Stock Optimisation: Analyse and optimise stock levels across our cold stores to ensure timely and accurate deliveries, minimise inventory, and reduce costs.
  • Booking and Delivery: Manage the booking-in process with customers, hauliers, and cold stores to guarantee on-time, in-full (OTIF) deliveries at the most competitive costs.
  • Customer Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for logistical queries and issue resolution, providing prompt and effective support to our customers.
  • Financial Management: Ensure accurate and timely invoicing, credit processing, and resolution of any credit/debit queries.
  • System Utilisation: Adhere to our core processes and effectively utilise key systems like Rubicon for order processing, stock management, and invoicing.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, consolidate orders/loads, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, actively listening to their needs and making informed decisions to improve customer experience and delivery performance.
  • Team Collaboration: Support the wider Logistics team and other departments on ad-hoc tasks, analysis, reporting, and relevant business meetings.
What We're Looking For:
  • Results-Oriented: A strong drive to achieve targets and deliver results.
  • Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of the role.
  • Problem-Solving: The ability to independently identify and resolve issues efficiently, even under tight deadlines.
  • Continuous Improvement: A curious mindset and a willingness to challenge the status quo to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
  • Technical Proficiency: Intermediate Excel skills and experience with Order Management/Planning software (SAP, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, Rubicon, Esker, Omprompt, etc.) is highly beneficial.
