We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our conveyancing department by assisting with the administrative tasks associated with property transactions. Responsibilities
Assist solicitors and conveyancers in managing property transactions from instruction to completion.
Prepare and organise legal documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and lease agreements.
Conduct property searches and liaise with local authorities and other third parties.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions and client communications.
Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders to provide updates on progress.
Handle enquiries and provide excellent customer service throughout the conveyancing process.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a conveyancing role or within a legal environment is preferred but not essential.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation.
Proficient in using standard office software and case management systems.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional telephone manner.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A willingness to learn and develop within the role.
