Job Title: Cleaning Attendant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Gym Cleaner to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our fitness facility. You will be responsible for ensuring that all areas, including the gym area, locker rooms, and common spaces, are kept clean, sanitised, and safe for our members. Your role will be essential in creating a welcoming and healthy environment for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Cleaning and Maintenance:

• Clean and sanitise all workout equipment, including treadmills, weights, and exercise machines.

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas, including the gym floor, locker rooms, bathrooms, and entryways.

• Clean mirrors, windows, and other surfaces to ensure a neat appearance.

• Locker Room and Bathroom Sanitisation:

• Disinfect showers, toilets, sinks, and locker surfaces regularly.

• Replenish supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap in locker rooms and restrooms.

• Specialized Cleaning Tasks:

• Wipe down high-touch areas frequently to reduce germ spread, such as door handles, light switches, and counters.

• Address any immediate spills, stains, or hazards promptly to ensure member safety.

• Report any maintenance or repair needs to management.

• Additional Tasks:

• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.

• Assist with special cleaning projects as directed by management.

• Experience: Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred, especially in a fitness or similar environment.

• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on cleanliness and hygiene standards.

• Communication Skills: Able to follow instructions and communicate effectively with management and team members.

• Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe environment.
