About us
Our client, a leading provider of sustainable waste management solutions, needs a skilled Banksman to join their Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) team IMMEDIATELY! Role: Banksman (Signaling and Traffic Control)
Location: Nantycaws, Carmarthen
Shift: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00
Pay: £14.50 per hour through Umbrella Company; take home Est £11.44 per hour. Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate
Start Date: Monday, 11/11/2024 (Immediate Start)
Job Description:

• Key Responsibilities: Swiftly and safely signal lorries and deliveries in and out of the MRF site due to ongoing road and construction work. Ensure the smooth flow of traffic and minimise congestion.
• Additional Duties: May also assist with other tasks within the MRF yard.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Banksman preferred but not essential
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Health and safety conscious
• Willingness to work as part of a team
