We provide a range of care and support services for our older residents, some of whom have dementia. Hours of work are an average of 34.5 hours per week over a 6-week rolling rota, working a variety of day shifts which will include working every second weekend. SVQ Level 3 in Care is essential to apply for this post. You should be SSSC registered or able to commit to registering after completion of one month of employment. As a Advanced Care Practitioner, when you are on shift, you will be in charge of running a small team of care staff ensuring that a good standard of care is provided to our service users. You will be responsible for up to 10 individual residents’ personal plans documentation, ensuring a person-centred approach. Your main duties would include: · Assess, plan, implement and evaluate resident’s needs and maintain individual care records including care plans. · Responsible for overseeing your assigned Care Practitioner (Buddy) to ensure they are carrying out their appointed resident buddy duties. · To support and guide Care Practitioner and support workers as required · A duty to ensure a full and accurate account has been given to new and existing support workers to inform them of residents who have been assessed as being at high risk regarding falls/, personality/behavioural issues, allergies (medical and food) choking. · Administrating medication Rate of pay is: £15.31 per hour Benefits: Employee Assistance Programme Commitment to ongoing learning and development Contributory Pension Scheme* Paid organisational Induction & induction shifts ** *subject to auto-enrolment eligibility **paid once in employment with Anderson’s Employment of successful applicant’s is subject to return of satisfactory recruitment checks such as references, PVG Scheme membership, verification of qualifications and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
