Job Summary:
The Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui is looking for a
Technician (Temporary)
who shares a passion for excellence, conveys a positive attitude and epitomizes honesty and integrity.
The technician has a responsibility to provide service and repairs to resort equipment including electrical, plumbing, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, and respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.
The position reports to Assistant Director of Engineering as well as Director of Engineering.
What you will do:
- Inspect Refrigeration & air-conditioning units to ensure efficient operation by correct maintenance actions.
- Perform regularly scheduled maintenance on heating and cooling circuits, blowers and controls.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions; install, replace or repair damaged equipment; calibrate thermostatic controls.
- Keeps all equipment in good repair and providing day to day maintenance of the hotel under the direction of Engineering Management
- Ensures a complete understanding of and adheres to the company’s fire and safety procedures
- Continually supports and improves engineering services that effectively address problems affecting both guests and staff
- Strives to become an independent mechanic, analyzes problems and formulates plans to get work done with a high degree of quality. Ensures that Engineering and the work area are kept clean at all times
- Be familiar of gas systems, and related safety procedures
- Maintains communications with Supervisors to ensure that all materials, tools, and supplies are available or on order. Follows up on any items that may be back ordered
- Responsible for the proper and timely completion of preventative maintenance systems
- Adjust and maintain internal electrical and electronic control systems; clean coils and blowers and check motors and belt tensions.
- Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner.
What you bring:
- M ust have existing work authorization to work in the country of Thailand
- Proven experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or resort
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and guest service skills
- Commitment to upholding Four Seasons Service and Culture standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
