Job Purpose
The QA Supervisor – Product Inspection and in Line Control role is responsible for ensuring the quality of raw material, packaging, work in process products and finished product are complying with specification and related standards. QA Supervisor manages the transferring of master product specification from Solution Lab to the Technical Specification that will be used for product release decision for QA and product. He/she manages the process for handling of non-conformity of work in process (WIP) products with warehouse and production department. He/she coordinates with sales, marketing and customer technical service (CTS) to support customer’s requirement and helps CTS on problem solving when found quality complaint issue. He/she supports Management Representative for the implementation of ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.
He/she verify the job of Material Inspector Chief on behalf of QA manager.
In absence of QA Manager, he/she will be acting as QA Manager.

Key Accountabilities
- Manage the process of sampling and inspection of materials, work in process products (WIP) and finished goods (FG) according to QA procedures, WIs and product specifications to support production to achieve target of RFT.
- Ensure that the sampling and inspection result are completed and communicated correctly within release lead-time to help production to achieve target of RFT and and other Quality KPI’s for site.
- Be the leader for the process of handling work in process product non-conformities on behalf of QA manager and make final decision for release/reject of NC material/product and ensure the implementation of corrective/preventive action of NCR.
- Ensure and support QA Chief for customer’s complaint handling with Sales, marketing, CTS and production to reduce/eliminate customer’s complaint.
- Transfer master product specification from Solution Lab to Technical Specification. Review, approve and register Technical Specification for the usage of QA and production.
Experience
- Bachelor of Science Degree: chemistry, biochemistry, polymer or equivalent, Engineering Degree: chemical, mechanical or equivalent from famous university and GPA at least 3.0.
- At least 3-5 years of working experience in manufacturing environment, having QA/QC, chemical / color production experience will be advantage
- Good command in English
- Computer literature : MS Office, MS Window
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, result focus, strong problem solving skills.
