What We Offer

First point of contact to support the local stakeholders for their respective requests and guide them through the PRO processes in accordance with the Covestro Procurement Guidelines and Directives.

Develop the useful and appropriate sourcing strategy for local products and services. Identify areas for improvement & cost reduction to achieve economic targets.

Sourcing of Technical Goods; Technical Services; Business Services; Turnarounds as agreed in the global / regional / local work share and sourcing strategies.

Cooperate closely with other relevant functions such as regional procurement, Tactical Buying, Content Management, PO Execution or other stakeholders (legal, insurance, credit management, accounting).

Prepare and treat invitation to tender, sourcing event, negotiation, purchase order or contracts, as well as claims and complaints.

Support other indirect procurement categories as needed according to the local / regional / global work-split.

Identify and develop new potential- as well as known (local / regional / global) suppliers and contractors.

Generate, track and document value contributions (e.g. savings, cash flow)

Collaborate with regional hub & global category management on the development and implementation of master services and supply agreements and increase procurement spends under contract.

Contribute to local procurement targets and continuous improvement of Site Procurement in the region and implement regional and local strategies in line with the global strategy.
What You Offer
-
Bachelor of Engineering, Business Administration or related field
-
Experience in Procurement and/or other relevant functions.
-
Knowledge of strategic sourcing, contract negotiations and management, supplier relationship management, dispute resolution, quality management systems, regulatory requirements and procurement processes, principles and practices, commercial law, modern procurement processes and practices, ethics in supplier-buyer relationships, negotiation practice.

Understanding of the compliance and ethics associated with the Procurement function.

Fluent in Thai and English.

Team-oriented communication, presentation, negotiation, conflict resolution, and influencing skills, including the ability to work in a global business environment.

Knowledge of all relevant IT tools.
