Job Summary: The Corporate Development Executive Manager will work closely with the CEO to design and execute the Companys strategy and fundraising plans. This role involves identifying and pursuing funding opportunities and cultivating investor relationships. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of business and fundraising strategies, excellent communication skills and a passion for driving financial growth in a startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
Work with Senior Management to develop and implement the Companys business strategy to achieve sustainable goals.
Identify market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with the startups financial goals, and identify and evaluate opportunities including venture capital, angel investors, family offices, grants, and strategic partnerships.
Build and maintain relationships with potential investors, including venture capital firms, angel investors, family offices, and strategic investors, and create compelling pitch materials and presentations for investor meetings.
Manage the financial and operational due diligence process for potential investors and create and maintain financial models and forecasts to support fundraising efforts.
Support the CEO in pitch meetings and negotiations with potential investors.
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to fundraising and prepare regular reports and updates for senior management, the board of directors, and shareholders.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in business, finance, or a related field; MBA will be a plus
3-5 years experience in fundraising, corporate development, or a related field, with a track record of securing investment for start-ups
Strong financial analysis and modelling skills
Good communication and presentation skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate across departments
Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
