eero is looking for a highly proficient, lead plus hands-on Wi Fi Test Engineer to own our testing efforts and keep our platform running smoothly. You will help the existing Wi Fi test team build test cases, validate software releases, and ensure that end users have a great connectivity experience. You'll work closely with development teams, to help discover and debug issues.

Key job responsibilities

• Develop test plans for eero's whole home Wi Fi products
• Define, implement Wi Fi test cases and support automation
• Develop ad hoc tests to support engineering debug
• Drive decisions about testing improvements
• Drive projects from start to finish and guide team-members
• Interface with SW, TPM, vendors and management teams
• Execute Wi Fi test plans
• Report test results and plan status
• Write detailed bug reports for engineering team
• Support distributed development and QA teams

A day in the life
The wifi testing team is a lean team working on multiple aspects of the wifi stack from integration, mac layer functionality, routing & networking to host layer application level validation to improve the user experience of our mesh solutions. You will be working in a fast paced environment and directly interacting with cross-functional teams and different stakeholders to drive decisions about the product.

The Wi Fi team in eero provides the most secure, fast, reliable and complete Wi Fi router system to our customers. We innovate on behalf of our customers. The team members are working closely to provide the best customer experience. Wi Fi team owns from design & development to quality assurance with dedicated Wi Fi labs.

• Knowledge of Wi Fi protocols
• Experience with RF equipment and tools
• Understanding of wifi standards and functionalities for 11ac/ax/11be
• Having led projects end-to-end from bring-up to production
• Proficient Python and Linux shell scripting skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
