Report to: IT Project Management Team Head The Role Technology Payment Project Manager job is responsible for working across the Technology delivery life cycle including inception, construction, testing, release and ongoing management of a product or service in a pod within a Technology team. They will be required to continually enhance their skills within a number of specialisms which include front end, development, security, testing, and operational support.
Job Contents
This role will carry out some or all of the following activities:
Provide support across the end-to-end delivery and run lifecycle, utilising their skills and expertise to carry out software development, testing and operational support activities with the ability to move between these according to demand
End-to-end accountability for a product or service, identifying and developing the most appropriate Technology solutions to meet customer needs as part of the Customer Journey
Liaise with other engineers, architects and business stakeholders to understand and drive the product or service's direction
Create technical test plans and records, including unit and integration tests, within automated test environments to ensure code quality
Provide support to Dev Ops teams working at all stages of a product or service release/change with a strong customer focus and end-to-end journeys, ensuring they have an excellent domain knowledge
Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered
Responsible for automating the continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline within a Dev Ops Product/Service team driving a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications
University or above graduated
The job holder must use his system and business knowledge to provide an efficient and comprehensive level of support to the delivery teams. The role should ensure that the business requirements are correctly captured and understood by the delivery teams to enable them to deliver the system solution with a high degree of quality.
Exposure to customer experience, usability, channels related exposures, with knowledge on corresponding systems and related life cycle knowledge and understanding.
It will be added advantage if that person has exposure to some of the regulatory and compliance aspects of financial systems, validation rules during capture and delivery.
The job holder should demonstrate excellent analytical capabilities, problem solving skills, learning abilities, team skills and ability to work independently.
Strong people relationship and management skills with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin/ Chinese.
Good understanding of IT environment and ability to bring knowledge of this to help facilitate the growth and integration.
Financial management experience is preferred.
