Responsibilities

Existing senior relationship with Taiwanese top-tier tech companies at C-level or above
Strong background in sectors including TMT sectors (Chip making, AI, Data Centers etc.) as well as energy, Battery and Industry sectors.
Good understanding of Taiwanese companies’ outbound business expansion strategies
Good understanding of local regulatory landscape and requirement
Solid knowledge of both financing and advisory businesses
Strong corporate finance and structured finance hard skills (modeling, legal, structuring, etc.)
Strong communication skills, relationship, business development, financial management and team spirits
Willingness to be innovative and creative in approach to financing needs and possession of a wide corporate financing experience.
Strong credit risk assessment skills

Profile required

Assist management to formulate a corporate business plan.
To on board target clients and identify business opportunities.
Coordinate with regional CCG to propose individual credit file and ensure the compliance with both internal as well as regulatory requirements.
Propose sustainability finance and ESG strategies in Taiwan

Department Description:
Global Banking and Advisory (GLBA) advises our clients and provide them with direct and indirect capital to support projects that have a huge positive impact. GLBA combines a recognized wholesale coverage with world-class product, financing and advisory expertise within one team, enabling us to best support our clients.
There are three major functions within GLBA:
Origination: encompassing the Financing, Investment Banking and Coverage teams, and a Sustainable and Positive Impact Finance Solutions team, all with a very strong sectoral alignment.
Distribution: a joint team between financing and sales & trading, adding both Business Units’ strengths to help sell credit assets at scale. It combines the Advisory, Structuring and Financing, Syndication, Credit Trading and Credit Sales functions.
Credit Portfolio Management, actively managing risks and resources, ensuring the respect of the ESG commitments and proposing the best-in-class digital and data-based portfolio management.
