Job Purpose Summary:
The Senior Account Manager Computing & Cloud Storage is responsible for the development and maintenance of client accounts, aiming to maximize revenue in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. Experience and relationships with key computer commodities suppliers such as HP, Cisco, Pure Storage, Google, etc., are crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Maintain and develop a profitable customer portfolio through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, with a focus on computer commodities.
  • Gain a clear understanding of customers’ business requirements, particularly in the realm of computer commodities.
  • Respond to and follow-up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
  • Procure computer commodities in accordance with customer requirements and company guidelines, leveraging existing relationships with suppliers such as HP, Cisco, Pure Storage, Google, etc.
  • Liaise internally to optimize service quality, business growth, and customer satisfaction, with a specific focus on computer commodities.
  • Resolve issues with customers and suppliers, including financial matters, as needed.
  • Attend and present at customer meetings, representing the company professionally.
  • Identify and report market and customer trends, specifically related to computer commodities.
  • Qualify new business opportunities and promote the company to prospective customers, emphasizing its expertise in computer commodities.
  • Observe competitor activity and gather intelligence, particularly in the computer commodities space.
  • Coordinate with global business units to maximize overall company sales opportunities, with a special emphasis on computer commodities.
  • Ensure all sales administration is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner, particularly regarding computer commodities.
  • Maintain and update customer database, with a focus on computer commodities clients.
  • Conduct and report account planning strategies when required, with a specific focus on computer commodities.
  • Attend industry functions as necessary, particularly those relevant to computer commodities.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Brings significant experience in electronic component trading.
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of computing components (CPU, Memory, GPU and more).
  • Demonstrates a strong drive and motivation to succeed.
  • Exhibits a solution-oriented approach and is willing to take ownership.
  • Thrives under pressure and can effectively manage workload demands.
  • Displays excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
