Regulatory Affairs Specialist is to operate daily regulatory tasks and develop regulatory strategies to support the implementation of changes in line with the most current regulatory requirements within the scope of chemical regulations and hazard communications. These include but are not limited to new and existing chemical registrations, toxic chemical license application, dangerous goods (DG) classification and reporting obligation. This role deals with the products under Electronics in Taiwan.
Conduct regulatory check and DG classification to ensure regulatory compliance for Electronics’ products
Collect data/information to compile chemical registration dossier to ensure the substance imported and manufactured is timely registered/notified
Work and communicate closely with stakeholders including sales, marketing, R&D, supply chain, logistics to timely complete the request or inquiry from customers and regulatory authorities
Monitor the development of chemical regulations and communicate any regulatory change in a timely fashion
Operate SAP EH&S to prepare hazard communication documents including safety data sheet (SDS) and label to ensure compliance with product safety requirements and local regulations
Prepare application/submission for import/export permit or license as well as periodic reporting to the government
Communicate with regulatory authorities and associations regarding regulation change, regulatory submission and any other regulatory topics
Utilize SAP GTS to monitor and control trade compliance activities

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s or graduate degree in chemistry, engineer, or science field
Fluent in spoken and written English
WORK EXPERIENCE
3 to 7 years relevant experience in chemical industry is preferred
Good understanding in regulatory operations area including process and technology solutions
