About the role: 10x is looking for an outstanding Oligonucleotide Synthesis Chemist to join the Process Development team. This person will be responsible for developing and integrating process control and yield optimization solutions for complex manufacturing workflows and identifying process to function relationships.
What you will be doing:
Yield statistics and analysis of each station and machine yield improvement
Responsible for mass production product specification formulation/training
8D Report Writing
New product and QC method introduction, mass production/undertaking planning
System parameter management
Interdepartmental project planning and execution
Hold lot processing in the detection area
Evaluation and trial of process materials
Trial production evaluation and mass production preparation
Implement various training requirements for on-site personnel, formulate manufacturing procedures and product standards
SPC establishment and management/Cpk improvement
Integrate data, present and report results
Capable of leading root cause investigations and implementation of mitigation strategies on oligo synthesis and defect reduction
Minimum Requirements:
MS with 5+ years of experience or Ph D with 2-5 years of experience relevant experience in chemistry/chemical industry/biomedical industry
Major in chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical engineering, or related fields
Strong knowledge of Process Development considerations - ability to develop robust, controlled processes
Able to read, write, and speak in English
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Master's degree or above in chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical engineering, or related fields
Experience in oligonucleotide synthesis process development
Experience in the biotech-related or pharmaceutical industry
MS with 5+ years of experience or Ph D with 2-5 years of experience relevant experience in chemistry/chemical industry/biomedical industry
