Contract : Feb - July 2016, renewable

Curriculum & Class Description

- Office hour Mon-Fri 8 am - 5 pm, 25 classes weekly, 50 min per class

(parents' day, sport day, or student fair will take place once in a while on Sat, around half day )

- EFL & ESL, collaborative-teaching involved

- G7-12 Junior & Senior High, each class 25-40 students

Compensation

* all numbers are pretax

- Airfare Reimbursement TWD 40000 (around USD 1350)

- End of contract bonus TWD 30000 (around USD 1000)

- Monthly attendance bonus TWD 3000 (around USD 100)

- Paid Vacation: Winter vacation, conditionally in accordance with the school calendar

- Monthly Salary TWD 64950 ( around USD 2150)

- Monthly Housing Allowance TWD 5000 ( around USD 170)

- Tax

Abide by MOF, the tax rate of the first 183 days in one taxable year is 18 %. The tax rate is eligible to be considered as 6 % after the completion of 183 days in one taxable year. Foreign tax payers are mandatory to file tax, and would be eligible to claim a tax refund when the overall stay is over 183 days in one taxable year.

Job Requirement

- Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university in English Language

- Hold a certified K-12 teaching license (any subject is welcomed), accept valid substitute teaching permit or provisional status

- Candidates from USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland are preferred
