JR53753 AMHS Maintenance Engineer
As an AMHS Maintenance Engineer, the AMHS Sustaining Group is responsible for maintaining the OHT system, Normal/Tower STK, TW, Vertical Carousel, BWS, Sorter, OLUS, OHS, STB/N2 STB, TS300RV, and N2 purge standalone. Meanwhile, your role involves developing shift team members and directing area sustaining efforts to ensure optimum performance. You will be expected to work any schedule shift work sometime for special taks, resouce support and critical event handing.
ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH, SAFETY & SECURITY
1. Follow all safety, environmental, and security procedures to ensure compliance.
2. Be an active participant in the EHSS program and report all EHSS-related concerns of problems immediately to the appropriate individual.
3. Be proactive in reducing incidents of personal injuries, safety hazards or environmental releases.
TECHNICAL
1. Identify, design and implement modification to equipment hardware, software, and procedures.
2. Design experiments to resolve difficult or chronic issues.
3. Troubleshoot failures that require advanced knowledge and skill.
4. Determine root cause of failures and monitor tool performance utilizing appropriate software applications.
5. Recognize opportunities for technical innovation.
6. Make decisions using data, established guidelines, procedures, experience, and judgment.
7. Develop area metrics as needed to provide monitoring of system performance.
8. Identify equipment issues in order to minimize excursions, and Identify high failure items and implement solutions.
9. Determine actions needed for excursion control.
10. Thoroughly understand how your assigned equipment interacts with the overall process flow.
VENDOR RELATIONS
1. Work with vendors to solve equipment related issues and to drive system improvements.
2. Provide suggestions and improvements to vendors when appropriate.
3. Represent the interests of Micron while collaborating and working with vendors.
4. Comply with company and vendor non-disclosure agreements.
5. Maintain relationships with procurement and follow established guidelines for vendor communication and quoting requests
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
1. Set schedules based on task and project needs utilizing milestones for complex tasks and projects.
2. Provide basic contingency plans for likely issues.
3. Suggest plans that take advantage of opportunities to combine work or gain efficiency.
4. Define scope of work.
5. Complete assigned projects and tasks per schedule.
6. Initiate new projects and tasks as needed to improve your tool sets.
7. Manage multiple events or tasks at once.
TRAINING
1. Create tool specific training courses and documentation.
2. Provide tool specific training to technicians and engineers.
3. Regularly review established documentation for discrepancies and improvements.
4. Incorporate system knowledge into procedures and training.
CST (Copy Smart team)
1. Attend CST meeting and participate in cross site troubleshooting events.
Communication
1. Communicate complex ideas and issues clearly to team members, area leadership, and/or other levels of management
2. Provide response and follow up to all open issues
3. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
4. Provide clarity to complex situations/problems
5. Notify appropriate areas of scheduled/ unscheduled down times and provide pertinent information
6. Record and publish meeting minutes
Cost Reduction
1. Monitor spare parts usage and drive cost reduction projects.
2. Second source parts for cost reduction and minimize regular expenditures.
3. Promote a cost conscious culture.
