This position is in Cargill’s agricultural supply chain business. We sit at the heart of the supply chain, partnering with farmers and customers to source, make and deliver essential products.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Trade Operations assistant (Coordinator - Ukrainian CPT and EMEA Grains), will participate in handling a supplier base and support transactions delivering commodities CPT export terminal in Ukraine. You will be responsible for accurate daily contract entry, understanding related P&L valuation and follow essential components of daily operational issues for CPT Ukraine and EMEA BST Grains. Key Accountabilities
Perform daily operational activities including verification of trade confirmations, contract entry, amendments, futures approval, follow position reconciliation, and ensure internal and external deadlines are met.
Act as a liaison with Trading Assistant and traders and other internal and external counterparties to manage operational tasks, communicate and resolve operational issues.
Enter most routine data and run specialty reports from our contract management databases and systems.
Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Act as back-up for Trading Assistant. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Basic understanding of commodity position and P& L reporting.
Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
Knowledge of Ukrainian and English.
Preferred Qualifications
Organizational skills experienced in a complex administrative role with many stackeholders and tasks.
Good priority management and stress resistance.
Ability to work independently.
Team spirit.
