This position is located at our corporate office in Baar, Switzerland.
Overview:
The Technical Services Intern will be supporting the TS Europe team and reports into the Director of Design & Technical Services. The internship will assist in visualizing the Aman design standards and translating design ideas and guidelines in digital sketches and drawings.
Responsibilities:
Assist the TS Director in the early visualization of special projects or CAPEX projects’ design related proposals
Assist TS team with the realization of schematic program proposals in Revu as part of desk-top feasibility studies
Assist in the organization of the as-built drawings of existing properties
Assist in the spatial visualization of the Aman Standard Guidelines (space diagrams, flow diagrams, etc.)
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Architecture with strong knowledge and affinity with interior design
Familiarity with aspects of luxury hotel, resorts and residence projects
Fluent in written and spoken English (additional languages desirable)
Proficient in Auto CAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion and Re Vu for creating detailed technical drawings and reviewing design documents.
Strong work ethic and cultural sensitivity
Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-national professional teams across multiple projects running concurrently
Ability to work independently
Organizational abilities to multitask and prioritize effectiviely
Excellent communicator able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
