In this role, you will focus on trade and structured trade finance activities, playing a decisive role in maintaining and expanding large-scale finance facilities. You will integrate these into the treasury operating model, manage significant volumes, and act as a key interface with internal and external stakeholders.

What you will do:

Operate and establish trade finance facilities for internal customers (e.g., trading desks, subsidiaries).
Ensure facilities are integrated within the Axpo operating model, acting as the primary interface between internal and external parties.
Participate in the roll-out of the new Treasury system (Kyriba), representing the team.
Lead market watch for trade finance opportunities in the fintech and digitalization space.
Manage relationships with external parties (banks, insurance companies) and internal teams globally.
Support and initiate operational and strategic initiatives contributing to organizational goals.

What you bring & who you are:

University degree or Business School qualification in Finance.
Proven experience in commodity trading or banking, focusing on trade or structured trade finance.
Experience or interest in digitalization and AI is a plus.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Team player with project management abilities and an active risk management mindset.
Fluency in English is essential; German and French are advantageous.
