Manager Corporate Accounting (f/m/d)

The job holder is responsible for managing, maintaining and supporting the simplification and standardization of the global chart of accounts. The role is further actively driving compliance to the global account reconciliation policy by ensuring that the supporting documentation is in line with global standards. Additionally, the role supports global projects as subject matter expert in the area of Corporate Accounting.

Additionally, the role supports global projects as subject matter expert in the area of Corporate Accounting.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the global chart of accounting including governance.
- Approve General Ledger account creation and extension in alignment with global standards; liaise with Global Master data team.
- Drive the chart of accounts simplification by analyzing account usage and define SAP configuration standards.
- Perform analysis of internal/external leading practices and benchmarks in SAP Financial Accounting
- Develop of global accounting guidelines including proper account usage for key processes.
- Provide training to relevant stakeholders on the global guidelines.
- Review reconciliation supporting documentation for compliance and ensure alignment with reconciliation standards.
- Support of global projects as subject matter expert in the area of Corporate Accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with focus on accounting.
- Strong IFRS knowledge is required.
- Advanced no. of years of experience in Operational Accounting.
- Strong operational finance process knowledge.
- Must be business fluent in English.
- CPA or CIMA is preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP FI and interfaces from subledgers (AR/AP) and supporting modules (AM, MM, SD, PP, PS, CO) is required.
- Strong presentation and communication skills; summarize complex matters in a clear, concise, accurate, and unambiguous way.
- Strong cross functional collaboration skills.
