Position Overview

Bcomp Ltd. is a young and dynamic Swiss company specialised in the development, marketing and sales of natural fibre composite solutions for high-performance applications. With a background in the sports industry, and after establishing ourselves in motorsports, we are now focusing on growing our presence in the mobility market. We develop sustainable lightweighting solutions based on natural fibres in close collaboration with our customers, in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial working environment.
To strengthen its Operations team and boost our production lines, Bcomp is looking for a Maintenance Technician ideally as of 1st of January in a small team.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on production and control equipment

• Support the production team to restart machines after breakdowns

• Ensure safety of the different production lines by following each machine risk analysis and safety concept such as LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) during interventions

• Participate to machine design reviews, installation, improvement and validation of new equipment

• Support the engineering team in problem solving analysis

• Participate to external audits like IATF (automobile standard) and ISO

• Understand spare parts classification of each machine

• Handle the electronic maintenance system (GMAO) and record all interventions made in this system

• Understand maintenance KPI’s such as (MTTR, MTTF, etc.)

• Carry out maintenance plans in accordance with the different SOP’s (start of production) dates

• Ensure 5S during interventions and at the maintenance workshop

Qualifications and Personal Qualities

• Diploma of Maintenance Technician or Automatician

• 2-4 years of experience in the maintenance of industrial production machines (ideally in textile or plastic injection)

• Experience in an industrial start-up is ideal

• Open to on-call service

• Fluent in French is a must; knowledge of English is a real advantage

• Be able to take initiative, work independently and solve problems

• Service and goal oriented with a collaborative approach and team spirit

• Understanding of standard computer skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams), GMAO (DIMO MX)

• Willingness to learn and discover new industrial technologies and fields

• Positive and energetic mindset – everything is possible!
