We are seeking a visionary General Manager who can uphold and enhance this legacy, becoming the guardian of the brand’s story, and leading the hotel to new heights of success.
Overview of the Role
As the General Manager, you will not only oversee the day-to-day operations but also be the chief storyteller of Hotel Rotary Geneva. Your role will be to ensure that the hotel's unique narrative is reflected in every guest interaction, every room, and every service. You will drive the hotel's strategic direction, lead the team with passion, and ensure that the brand's identity is preserved while evolving to meet modern hospitality standards.
You will be the custodian of the MGallery ethos, maintaining the delicate balance between the hotel's historical significance and its modern luxury appeal, ensuring that the guest experience is nothing short of extraordinary.
Key Responsibilities

• Be the storyteller and brand guardian of Hotel Rotary Geneva, ensuring the hotel’s rich history and unique identity are infused into all aspects of operations and guest experiences.
• Lead by example, inspiring the entire team to deliver authentic and personalized service that aligns with the hotel's narrative and the MGallery brand.
• Drive creative storytelling through guest experiences, from check-in to F&B services, making every stay memorable and unique.
• Oversee all hotel operations, ensuring exceptional service standards in alignment with Accor and MGallery’s brand values.
• Lead strategic planning efforts to achieve operational and financial goals, while safeguarding the hotel’s reputation as a boutique luxury destination.
• Develop and maintain deep connections with guests, using feedback to continuously enhance service delivery and guest satisfaction.
• Foster a team culture rooted in passion, pride, and a deep understanding of the hotel's heritage, driving engagement and high performance.
• Ensure financial stability through effective cost management, budget planning, and revenue generation strategies.
• Build the hotel’s presence in the local community, cultivating relationships with tourism, cultural, and business partners to enhance the hotel's profile.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• A minimum of 5-7 years of leadership experience in the luxury or boutique hotel sector, with a proven track record as General Manager or in a senior management role.
• A natural storyteller with a passion for brand-building and an understanding of the power of narrative in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including F&B, front office, guest relations, and team management.
• A strategic thinker with financial acumen, capable of managing budgets, optimizing costs, and driving revenue.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a diverse team.
• Fluent in both French and English (additional languages are an advantage).
• A deep appreciation for design, heritage, and the art of hospitality, with the creativity to continually enhance the guest experience.
