A Day in the Life
Are you ready to take a key role within a leading Med Tech global organization as a core member of the Leadership Team responsible for driving alignment between business planning, communications, finance, functional initiatives to deliver results supported by a consistent, transparent, and cohesive leadership strategy for Structural Heart in Western Europe? Do you wish to provide project management, tactical support, communications, and effective operating mechanisms to implement projects, strategic initiatives and any other activity which would require shared agreement and action among the leadership team of Structural Heart in the region? As a Chief of Staff for Western Europe, you will partner with the regional OU Leadership Team to identify, prioritize, scope, manage, and deliver on critical strategic projects to augment our commercial capabilities and deliver results on collective strategic decisions. You will also bridge gaps among functions, between headquarters and the field to achieve and exceed strategic goals. In the role, you will augment Western Europe ability to execute strategically on critical projects to deliver and exceed current and future yearly goals.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Act as a trusted advisor to the Leadership Team and work with the leaders to ensure the appropriate progression, support, and visibility for a variety of initiatives sponsored by the leadership team
Align with the Leadership Team, proactively address pressing business issues that need immediate attention
Lead projects for selected strategic business initiatives from ideation to implementation
Help lead and initiate change throughout the organization
Help strategic ideas take root and provide early facilitation until a more formal project is established
Think strategically while providing tactical support to implement ideas
Proactively escalate and resolve potential issues by calling them to the attention of the Council, eventually identifying potential solutions with all the supporting functions where needed
Lead processes aimed to deliver, monitor, and communicate progress towards goals for Leadership Team
Analyze and report on performance-based strategy and business goals, eventually recommending areas needing improvement through continued enhancements in ownership, transparency, and accountability
Required knowledge and experience
At least a 7-year experience in project management with proven outstanding results
Strong analytical, planning, organization, and time management skills to effectively develop and execute comprehensive programs and budgets
Demonstrated track record of leading within complex organizations requiring strong team leadership and influencing skills
Advanced management and leadership knowledge to lead cross-department project teams or manage across multiple functions
Typically has achieved mastery within a specific technical or broad expertise across multiple related disciplines.
Strong Negotiations Skills and Agreement Negotiations Experience
A Master’s Degree, preferably in Business or Engineering, is preferred
