Strong knowledge of the IKEA product and service range
Extensive knowledge of IKEA tone of voice as well as of the prerequisites of communication across channels
Extensive knowledge of selling techniques and sales steering
Strong knowledge of relevant sales and service processes and tools
Deep knowledge of customer journey for the different B2B industry segments e.g. service, hospitality, education, residential construction etc.
Strong commercial mindset as well as selling and negotiation skills
Ability to understand and build on business customer needs to offer complete furnishing solutions, always with high attention to details
Ability to work with others in a team, being open to exchange of knowledge and insights
You communicate fluently in German and French, English is a further advantage.

For this role we expect you have a minimum 2 years of experience from sales, customer service or key account management.
Your responsibilities
In this role you will:
Establish and maintain long-lasting business relations with local businesses and provide qualitative customer support in all remote channels, including live video calls, to secure a great complete customer experience stretching from sales to resolutions, thus building trust in the IKEA brand
Make use of remote active selling techniques in the customer contact to contribute to growth and sustained long-term profitability
Enhance the proactiveness in selling and approaching customers in order to reach new customers
Offer complete furnishing solutions, demonstrating a commercial approach and true salesmanship in every customer contact, in order to maximize sales
Provide customers with after sales solutions that meet their needs, balancing cost consciousness and customer experience
Secure that all parts of the business customers order are fulfilled, by working actively together with colleagues in other functions, and update the customer on status and possible deviations, in order to see projects to completion
Negotiate and present sales quotations to the customers, their stakeholders and management group when needed, in order to build trust and maximize sales
Stay up to date and provide customers with information around certificates and products standards in order to secure that local regulations are followed
Capture relevant customer insights to enable other parts of Ingka to improve the customer experience
