Associate Director - Operational Excellence Manager (f/m/d)

The Associate director - Operational Excellence Manager Responsible for defining and implementing the Operational Excellence strategy at Bio Atrium. This includes the deployment of continued improvement, lean and six sigma tools. Drives the creation of a continued improvement culture in Bio Atrium. Pro-actively identifies opportunities for improvement and facilitates the implementation of sustainable solutions Key responsibilities:
Understand and facilitate the creation of Value Stream Maps of business processes. Applies lean and six sigma tools to identify improvement opportunities and deliver effective solutions.
Mentor, coach or train team members including white, yellow and green belts in Lean / Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Pro-actively lead and facilitate improvement/problem solving workshops.
Work with the team to uncover and assess lean opportunities, helping to prioritise those projects with greatest benefit and support delivery with well executed sustainable steps.
Lead specific projects and apply lean six sigma tools to improve processes.
Work with all departments in Bio Atrium to identify and implement key metrics at appropriate levels of the business.
Input into strategy to align & prioritise lean/CI initiatives & project objectives for Bio Atrium.
Pro-actively work with functional leaders to establish continuous improvement goals & act as a liaison with finance to build improvement budgets & validate actual improvement ROI results.
Effect change by influencing operational teams to adopt lean concepts such as 5s, A3, PDCA, standard work, DMAIC, problem solving, visual management & the creation of lean flow in their daily work.
Pro-actively Delivers or supports improvement projects as required.
Key requirements:
Bachelor degree required, Master preferred
Preferred area of study: IE, Science, Engineering or related disciplines
Advanced no. of years of experience in the area of Lean Six Sigma. Experience in pharma industrial is a plus.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt required
Strong leadership skills; very good communication skills and interaction with all kinds of interfaces within customers and the project organization
Structured, focused and well-organized working attitude
Fluent in English. German
