Modvion's first large wind turbine tower was installed in 2023, an important milestone that confirms our innovative strength and the interest from the industry is high.
Position Overview:
The Technical Sales Manager will play a critical role in driving technical understanding in the sales process. Both to understand and communicate external technical requirements as input to the product development, but also to provide technical understanding of Modvion’s technology and advantages for external parties. You will develop sales opportunities and maintain strong relationships with key clients by providing technical expertise to support the sales process. You will be part of the Sales & Marketing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and customer engagement.
  • Manage and monitor OEM technical integration strategy and activities.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers, helping them understand how our products/services can address their specific challenges.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Facilitate and align customer requirements with Modvion’s engineering and product development teams for seamless collaboration.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales in collaboration with the sales manager, while ensuring alignment with company policies and objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our brand and generate leads.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to senior management, highlighting progress towards goals and any challenges faced.
Qualifications:
  • Msc or Bsc degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; a technical background is required.
  • Deep analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of complex problem solving
  • Preferred understanding of wind energy sector and the ability to quickly learn new technical concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Full written and spoken proficiency in English is required
  • Professional proficiency in Swedish is preferred.
