Functional area: Operations & Maintenance



Our Digital & SCADA Operations (D&SO) department within RWE Offshore is looking for a Site Operations Interface with experience working on site and excellent stakeholder management skills, to work together with Offshore Site Operations. The candidate will be an interface/speaker with central Operations teams as well as other departments, ensuring that Shared Fleet processes are well implemented on site and continuously improve them, including business requirements for the digital products involved. The candidate will be regularly in touch with the sites, remotely and face to face.


Your tasks

  • Build up a strong stakeholder network within the sites under responsibility, as well as other Operations and Engineering teams. It requires to travel to site regularly.
  • Be the main contact (interface) between sites and central teams (inc. D&SO)
  • Implement and monitor shared fleet processes related to performance reporting, production planning or REMIT reporting. This includes customer-oriented feedback sessions, refresh trainings, problem-solving sessions and propose Continuous Improvement actions. Also, support the interface with other operational processes not own such as corrective/preventive maintenance.
  • Attend regional and local meetings / events that are of interest of D&SO or on site’s demand.
  • Collect and address day2day troubleshooting issues raised by the site, that are within the D&SO scope.
  • Provide status update to the region’s stakeholders, on regular basis, of day2day issues having impact in the site performance
  • Facilitator role in digital product related issues & troubleshooting
  • As business process owner, represent Operations as main stakeholder of digital products related to the shared fleet processes owned.

Your profile – qualifications & skills required for the job

  • A relevant engineering degree or equivalent, or a demonstrated technical knowledge and understanding
  • Proven working experience in Wind Operations (on site, in control room, or similar) for at least 3 years
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with various teams and stakeholders
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and problem solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Previous working experience with KPIs / Reporting / Dashboards
  • Experience with Visualization software (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of Agile process and principles
  • Knowledge of other support tools such as Airtable or Mural is a plus
