Job ID: R0009195 Date posted: 13/09/2024 We are searching for a passionate Safety and Security Leader for our safety and security program in Sweden. Your mission will be twofold – you will lead Safety and Security for our Retail Concept and Enabling functions in southern Sweden, whilst bringing together the local Safety and Security teams across Inter IKEA companies and sites in southern Sweden to coordinate and align safety and security approach. At IKEA, we do things a little different. We think differently, act differently, and work differently as well. We like to break things. Like rules. And then make things. Like music-playing lamps. And beds disguised as sofas. Even plantballs that help us look after our planet. It’s all part of our vision - to create a better everyday life for the many. And it’s been keeping our co-workers going for over 75 years. By 2030, we hope to help millions more look forward to going home. Maybe you can help us? About the area
Inter IKEA Group is organised in three core businesses - Range, Supply and Retail Concept - and five enabling functions. Together we contribute to the success of IKEA and share responsibility for the franchise offer.
The enabling functions lead key common activities in networks across Inter IKEA Group, as well as cover specific needs for the core businesses. The five Enabling functions are Operations Management, Business Performance & Support, Communication, Sustainability and People & Culture.
About the job
Here at Inter IKEA we prioritise safety and security. Our Safety and Security Leader plays an important role across our sites in Sweden, developing our safety and security program and ensuring our safety and security co-workers have the training and skills required to deliver it day to day. As Safety and Security Leader your collaboration, people and leaderships skills will be called upon just as much as the deep competence you bring with you.

You firmly believe that through collaboration and togetherness we are able to develop a better tomorrow for our safety and security program and can demonstrate how you have achieved this type of objective previously.
From your experience you are able to explain safety and security in easy to understand ways. You seek out both opportunities and challenges, and have thirst for variety, appreciating that one day is different to the next, and that not all needs are the same. You are excited by the possibility of joining likeminded professionals, and are capable of helping Inter IKEA to develop a Safety and Security program fit for the future. To be successful in this role, the following knowledge, skills and experiences would be valuable:
In-depth experience implementing and developing Safety and Security programs
