As the Management Team Assistant, you will be an essential part of support and enable our business and people agenda to move forward. You will support IKEA Marketing & Communication management in various tasks, projects and processes and this role is a great opportunity to get insights into Marketing & Communication as well as the IKEA value chain. The learnings, insights and networks that you will receive in this position will give you a great foundation for taking on more challenging positions within IKEA in the future! Main tasks and responsibilities:
Organise, prepare and participate in management meetings, IMC board meetings and Commercial Recipe council meetings, including invitation of stakeholders and/or special guest speakers/facilitators, preparation of meeting agenda, presentation, minutes etc.
Compile, analyse information and identify facts of importance for decision making
Plan and coordinate activities within the business yearly calendar and as required in other business-related assignments, working closely with the management team.
Lead selected topics/questions on behalf of, as well as, representing the Managing Director and management in various internal and external meeting forums when needed.
Responsible for defining, create and activate communication connected to the MD and management team agenda, and support in connection to events such as Kick Off and our IMC Gatherings
The management team consists of the CFO, People & Culture and Communication Manager, Strategy& Plan Manager and the Managing Director whom you also reports to. Qualifications To be successful we believe that:
You have proven leadership experience and the ability to manage and lead people and business by influencing and using indirect leadership
You are an excellent communicator with stakeholder management skills facilitating groups from across the business
You have a strong drive and the ability to take initiative, and question routines, always with a positive twist
You are structured, service minded, goal- and solution oriented
You enjoy and have the ability to quickly condense, simplify and prioritize messages and put it into inspiring communication and presentations.
You act as a role model for the IKEA values in your daily work and have an interest in people’s everyday life at home
You have the motivation and potential to continue to grow and take more steps within IKEA
