The positionWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our products and processes. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to identify and resolve quality issues, conduct thorough audits, and implement robust quality control systems. Main responsibilities
Interface with engineering to conduct tests, reliability tests, and FMEAs to identify and address major design-related issues; conduct frequent reviews on design issues in manufacturing.
Perform internal and third-party process/manufacturing audits and provide assessments to ensure product quality; lead process audits.
Support the analysis and creation of FMEAs; maintain and follow up on Quality Control Plans.
Lead root cause analysis of quality issues and problem-solving methods for both internal and customer issues.
Follow up on containment, corrective, and preventive actions until resolved, in cooperation with related departments.
Assist related process owners in identifying production risks and managing risks in a preventive manner.
Supplier Quality Management: Supplier claims, follow-up on pending action plans with the most problematic suppliers, analysis of the most repetitive issues in each case.
Lead, together with the Purchasing department, the supplier approval process and qualification of new products: Supplier audits, periodic internal product audits, participation in supplier classification, etc.
Participate in internal/external audits such as ISO standards, and participate in corrective actions to continue improving quality management.
Establish an appropriate document management system with quality documentation and records, update and review it as necessary.
Qualifications and requirements
Ideally, we are looking for an Electronics Engineer, although we are open to considering profiles from other engineering fields.
Ideally, previous experience in industrial assembly companies of electrical equipment or similar is essential, with at least 3-5 years of experience in the Quality department.
Ability to work in a team and in international environments.
A high level of English is indispensable for this position.
Ideally, the candidate should be a resident of Vitoria-Gasteiz or nearby areas.
