About the role: You will be responsible for supporting elderly people living in their homes with a key focus of re-enablement and increased in-home independence. About you:
Minimum one (1) year experience in a similar role
Desirable Certificate III in Aged Care or related discipline or wiillingness to undertake studies.
National Police Check upon commencement.
Working with children check (Blue Card) for paid employment.
Demonstrated understanding of the issues impacting Torres Strait Islander people together with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively.
