Strategic Sourcing Lead(Contractor-16 months) Lead sourcing management specialist will be responsible for procurement strategy drives PCCA desired output. This role will require both strategic thought and tactical follow-through to succeed in a Procurement-focused space, you will use your expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives, and effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
Participates in CC7 (cost-continuum) targets and procurement targets with a focus on commercial supplier negotiation.
- Prepares/planning in Purchase price variance - PPV/CC7 weekly/monthly analysis – accruals and reports.
Coordinates local Procurement activities for GCR.
Works together with business senior management in setting realistic and challenging operational goals and contributing to their accomplishment.
Lead/maintain the meetings, and reviews communicate about project approach, and present outcomes of research done.
Prepares and executes actions focused on the following areas: Cost, Delivery, and Sustainability using all relevant processes and procedures, focus on agreed objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), targets, and measures relating to supplier development.
Continually review all purchasing systems/procedures and ensure that all supply management policies (tools, procedures, measures, and processes) are commonly applied across sites and continuously developed strategies and implement improvement where appropriate. Develop and enforce the company’s ethical purchasing policy and provide a sustainable procurement strategy.
Management of purchasing module on ERP system to ensure that operations purchase correct components as the set-up of SAP.
Lead projects, explain information, and develop skills. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive details/issues such as skill matrix and procurement educational training.
Initiate and bring into completion saving and availability projects by conducting market research and benchmarks, considering total cost, value creation, and possible risks.
Aligns procurement and logistics strategies to best meet cost and supply chain network flow.
Negotiate the lowest possible cost while maintaining the highest quality of goods and services with the sourcing manager. Actively participate in supplier performance review evaluation.
Education level.
- This role requires minimum 5 years of experience and an anced understanding of the strategic sourcing & Buying-Procurement scope. - Bachelor’s/Engineering degree from accredited universities.
Fluent English & Korean is a must.
Excellent interpersonal communications and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
Strong understanding of logistics requirements (incoterms, freight,etc)
Strong quantitative and analytical skills; strong PC (Microsoft Word, Excel and etc) and database management skills.
Strong communication (verbal, written & presentation); skilled in working collaboratively with remote personnel.
Ability to cope with multiple complex situations daily.
Able to adapt to new requirements or changes.
