Video Production and Editing: Create and edit videos for in-studio and location shoots, client testimonials, and marketing purposes using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro. This includes filming on multiple devices such as DSLR/MILC cameras, multi-cam software and mobile phones.
Animation and Motion Graphics: Develop simple animations and motion graphics using Adobe After Effects to complement video content.
Graphic Design: Design graphics using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and GIMP. Tasks include creating promotional materials, social media graphics, and other visual content.
Content Conceptualization: Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and develop innovative visual content ideas that align with the station's branding and strategic objectives.
Post-Production: Perform post-production editing, including basic sound editing and color correction, to ensure high-quality output.
Content Optimization: Ensure all visual content is optimized for various digital platforms and adheres to SEO best practices to enhance visibility and engagement.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with the Programming, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure content meets their needs and supports overall business goals.
A relevant tertiary qualification in Visual Media Production, or related field.
Experience and Skills Requirements:
Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the media or entertainment industry. Practical experience in video pre-production, production and post-production.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Da Vinci Resolve.
Strong understanding of graphic design principles and experience using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and In Design.
Some experience in basic animation and motion graphics creation on After Effects and in Premiere Pro specifically in key-framing.
Ability to film high-quality video content using DSLR/MILC cameras and mobile phones.
