OVERALL, PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Collect and analyse accident and incident data to deliver actionable insights for enhancing aviation safety. Support safety information management and boost departmental efficiency with data analysis and dynamic dashboards

Aviation Safety Information training

The Trainee Aviation Safety Information Officer will be trained to:
Collect Safety information data from various sources
Validate the data sources and capture on the data base
Maintain and update of the of the accident and incident database
Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in the collected data
Perform analyses of accident and incident data and draw conclusions from the information gathered and provide dashboards
Assist in the conduct of safety studies and research on available data and comparative data from other states
Assist in the preparation of reports to support the monitoring and analyses of trends and produce reports on a monthly and quarterly basis
Records Management
Keep records of all the report.

Minimum Qualifications:

National Diploma in Data Science or related qualification.

Ideal

Data management or Data Science degree or related Degree

Experience

2 years Administration in an aviation field
2 years Data capturing and analysis

2 Years Aviation technical experience would be advantageous
