About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll perform complex research, design, and software assignments. Providing input to project plans, scheduling and methodology, you'll be developing cross-functional software products. You'll be working on individual tasks and solving problems.
Responsibilities
- Interfacing with other personnel or team members to finalize requirements
- Completing complex bug fixes, and resolving technical issues
- Implementing development processes, coding best practices and code reviews
- Operating in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders
- Training entry-level engineers, ensuring that they are knowledgeable in critical aspects of their roles
- Designing and working with complex data models
Requirements
- Have a BS degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Have substantial Software Development experience
- Have an excellent understanding of data modelling principles, data manipulation languages and storage systems
- Be expert in development languages, including C, Microsoft SQL Server, C#.net, HTML, CSS and Java Script with experience in web technologies (Angular, Soap Services (WCF), Rest, MVC) being an additional benefit.
- Have the ability to work well with internal and external technology resources
- Have good knowledge of test-driven development
- Have an advanced knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
